【zhenshen m.3dshenyang.cn】The global economy continues to be sluggish, and the polyurethane industry, known as the “sunrise industry”, has been deeply affected. At the 2012 China Polyurethane Industry Chain Investment and Development Forum held on August 30th, experts at the conference jointly stated that it is the best time for the industry to brew a new round of development, and the development of core technologies has become an urgent task for the innovation of the polyurethane industry. The industry should focus on the development of safety and environmentally friendly technologies, including non-phosgenation process isocyanate production technology, propylene direct oxidation process for propylene oxide technology, reduction and elimination of polyurethane solvent technology, renewable resource bio-based biodegradable raw material technology, polyurethane waste products Recycling and recycling technologies, as well as the development of high-value-added, wide-ranging downstream differentiated products。
Win the initiative by core technology
The current global raw materials for isocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and polyether polyol (PPG), are shifting capacity in Asia and China, and the marketization of raw materials and downstream products is fierce. Whoever has the core technology will take the initiative. For example, Zhu Changchun, secretary general of China Polyurethane Industry Association, said that Yantai Wanhua has mastered MDI's independent core technology, and its current production capacity has exceeded 1.1 million tons per year. It also acquired Hungarian Bosu Company, plus other expansion projects, Wanhua or will Become the world's number one MDI; at the same time, Wanhua pays attention to the development of the downstream, and establishes a relatively complete industrial chain; since the product quality is better than other brands, its price has been firm.。
It is understood that in the past 10 years, China's polyurethane industry technology innovation has made great achievements, and has laid a certain foundation for the industry's common problems and breakthroughs in core technologies. For example, Yantai Wanhua Group's new phosgenation reaction agent MDI production technology, its key indicators have reached the international leading level; the industrial preparation technology of waterborne polyurethane adhesive developed by Fujian Institute of Material Structure of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, performance reached, partially surpassing foreign similar product indicators; Suzhou The Polyurethane Elastomer Crosslinking and Expanding Agent MOCA of Xiangyuan Special Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. has a scale of 10,000 tons and is the world leader. The non-phosgeneized HDI and electrosynthesis adiponitrile technology independently developed by Shandong Runxing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. A domestic gap, plans to build an annual output of 100,000 tons / year of hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and 300,000 tons / year adiponitrile project, etc.。
Make a strong wide pyramid foundation
Zhu Wei, deputy director of the Information and Marketing Department of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, told reporters that "the polyurethane industry is like a pyramid, and now has a spire" - sufficient high-performance raw materials, the most needed is to strengthen the foundation of the wide pyramid, develop Differentiate downstream products."
He said that some companies in the industry are keen to invest in "imitation" products, which is uncompetitive and also boosts overcapacity. Under the new situation, enterprises should shift their investment focus to research and development, and develop independent property rights. "I have no one." Applied products.
Zhu Changchun said that China's TDI production ranks first in the world in terms of quantity, but the technical content of domestic TDI enterprises is relatively low. We must simultaneously carry out research on phosgenation and non-phosgene gasification technologies, and strive to make breakthroughs. . In the downstream aspect, most of the production of thermoplastic polyurethane resin (TPU) in China currently uses dry spandex, which has the problem of solvent pollution, while the international adopts advanced melting technology, and the final product is spandex slicing. At present, it is still necessary to import or purchase a large amount of spandex chips from local foreign companies. However, a Wuxi company is already developing a complete set of melted spandex.
Speed-up must be "open" innovation
The fierce competition in the market has led to the minimization of corporate profits, coupled with the old concept that “innovation can't solve the thirst”, some SMEs are reluctant to invest in research and development. How to change this situation? Zhu Changchun put forward the idea of “open” innovation for the characteristics of the polyurethane industry. First, encourage large enterprises to establish R&D centers, ensure R&D expenditures from the system, introduce high-end talents, and set innovation goals. The establishment of Wanhua Group Research Institute has promoted the company to embark on a successful way of “promoting development with innovation”. Second, encourage small and medium-sized enterprises to set up corresponding R&D institutions; cooperate with domestic science and technology institutions to carry out industrialization projects, avoid single-handedness, and diversify cooperation methods; encourage local new materials to build thermal insulation materials industrial parks to build technology incubators, and government departments to Policy support, such as tax breaks on new products listed. Third, to develop win-win cooperation with foreign-funded enterprises; after more than 100 years of development, multinational companies have higher technical content of their production and products, and cooperation with them is a good strategy.
