Fishing suspended due to tropical depression in China's Hainan

The three-and-a-half-month summer fishing moratorium in the South China Sea concluded at noon on Saturday. To ensure safety amid an ongoing tropical depression, the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a notice urging fishermen to temporarily suspend fishing activities and to keep their vessels safely sheltered in port.
